Notifications are messages sent directly to members and are not published in the app itself. Notifications are meant to be used for quick updates and reminders and can be sent to groups or individual members. You can send notifications via SMS, email, or push notifications.
Announcements are updates published in the Announcement Feed within the app. Announcements can be targeted at the entire membership organization, specific groups or individual members. Announcements can have notifications included, or can be published to the news feed without notifications.
